I recall with nostalgia, trips with my dad and grandpa to the “pole patch” on the National Forest with the old ‘57 Chevy flatbed stock truck, to gather materials for making jack fence on the family ranch.  This was a tradition for many ranching families in our community.

From decorative three-pole single span jack fence around houses, to jack fence worthy of holding bison that traverses hillsides, wetlands, and rocky ridges.  I’ve put up miles and miles of jack fence on behalf of my family ranch, friends, and neighbors.
